ECP takes privacy seriously, and this Privacy Policy describes ECP’s views and practices in detail. This Privacy Policy is part of the Terms, so if you do not agree to everything in this Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Service.

The information below is presented in sections. These sections and their headings are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.

1.  Changes to the Privacy Policy

ECP reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes take effect as soon as ECP posts a revised version of the Privacy Policy. The date that the current version was posted is written at the top of the Privacy Policy. By accessing or using the Website after ECP has posted a revised version of the Privacy Policy, you agree to all changes that have been made.

2.  Types of information collected

Like many providers of online services, ECP collects information that your browser sends whenever you use the Service (“Browsing Information”). This Browsing Information may include information such as your computer’s IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages that you visit on the Website, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

When you submit a form or purchase a Plan, ECP collects personal information (“Personal Information”) that you provide, such as your email address, your name, your location, and your payment details (e.g., your billing address, your credit card information).

When you use Content in a Plan, ECP may collect information about your performance (“Performance Information”).

3.  Collection procedures

Browsing Information is collected automatically when you use the Service, for example through the communication process between the Website and your browser.

Personal Information is collected by asking you to provide it, for example in forms on the Website.

Performance Information is collected automatically or manually when you use Content.

4.  Collection purposes

ECP uses Browsing Information to look for patterns in how the Service is used. This helps ECP to find ways to improve the Service.

ECP uses Personal Information to fulfill your request for a free online 30-minute consultation, or to purchase a Plan. For example, if you purchase a Plan, ECP uses your payment details to complete your purchase. ECP will also use your email address to provide you with support related to the Service.

ECP uses Performance Information to provide you with feedback on your performance with Content.

5.  Consent procedures

By using the Service, you consent to ECP collecting and using Browsing Information for only the specific reason above (see Collection purposes section above). Therefore, if you do not consent to this, do not use the Service.

By providing Personal Information, you consent to ECP collecting and using it for only the specific reason above (see Collection purposes section above). Therefore, if you do not consent to this, do not provide ECP with this information.

If ECP would like to collect and/or use your information for any other reason (e.g., marketing), ECP will ask you explicitly for your consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

If at any time you wish to withdraw your consent for ECP to use any information that you have provided, you must contact ECP in writing (see Contact section below).

6.  Information access

The Website is hosted by Squarespace, Inc. (, a third-party website hosting platform. Your Browsing Information is stored using Squarespace’s data storage.  Squarespace therefore has and can access these data.
The Website forms are linked to a Google drive (, a third-party data storage platform.  Your Personal Information is stored using Google’s data storage.  Google therefore has and can access these data.

A variety of other websites and services will be used as part of a Plan. This will include but not be limited to video conferencing tools, email tools, and messaging tools. Your Browsing Information, Personal Information, and/or Performance Information will be stored using those third-party websites’ and services’ data storage.  Those third-party websites and services therefore have and can access these data.

If you purchase a Plan, you must pay a fee, and to process this payment ECP uses a third-party payment processor such as Stripe or Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information.
Keep in mind that third-party service providers ECP uses may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or ECP. So if you choose to proceed with a transaction that involves these third-party service providers, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that third-party service provider or its facilities are located. As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a third-party service provider located in the USA, then your Personal Information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under USA legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Also, when you click on links on the Website and in the Content, the links may direct you to other websites (e.g., to videos on Youtube). Once you leave the Website or are redirected to any other websites, you are no longer governed by ECP’s Privacy Policy or Terms. ECP is not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites and ECP encourages you to read their privacy policies.
Beyond these ways of sharing your information, ECP may disclose your information if ECP is required by law to do so or if you violate the Terms. Also, if the Service is acquired by or merged with another company, ECP may transfer your information to the new owners so that they can continue to provide the Service.

Further details about the accessibility of your information can be found in the privacy policies of the third-party service providers ECP uses:

7.  Information protection

No method of information transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. However, ECP and the third-party service providers ECP uses take a variety of recommended steps to protect the information ECP collects.
For example, if you provide ECP with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, ECP follows all PCI-DSS requirements and implements additional generally accepted industry standards.

Also, the only members of the ECP team who are granted access to your information are those who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g., billing or customer service), and any devices ECP uses to store your information (e.g., backup hard drives) are encrypted.
